new 7000hd firmware sept 21st

is the sept 21st firmware any good or is it the same as march 13th. his this a new update or the old update been renamed ?

i tried it last night and i found that i could not sort my fav's so i put the 12/3/09 back on and used my channel tbn that i have on my pc and all is back to normal ps i can sort my fav's with the 12/3/09 firmware

There have been many complaints about not being able to sort and rename favourites with the March Firmware. I could not sort them with the old firmware, got BBC, ITV and Sky 1,2+3 in every favourite group. The new firmware allows them to be sorted properly - but you do need to factory reset and re-scan.

The march firmware will let you sort out, view and name the favorites. If you remove the older firmware off the usb pen first before uploading the 12/03/09 firmware onto the box.
To make sure you have the fimware installed correctly. When you press menu, the words "EUROVOX EX7000 HD" will be on the bottom right hand side.

I guess it depends on what area you are in, because it certainly didn't work here in Pure, EX Diamond cable. It does work with the new firmware.

There were reports on several forums complaining about it not working, I have also received several e-mails about it not working with the March Firmware.

What about the subtitle issue - did you have that problem and is it now fixed?

just put new firmware on. named it flash.tbn switch off machine from the back and back on again. it flashed automatic but i still cant put favourites in order ?

It may be an area issue??. It's (12/03/09) all working fine in the NTL (ex C&W) area.

Do you have the BBC3+BBC4 subtitle issue with the March firmware in C&W? If you do, can you try the new Beta and report back if that fixes it please

No issue with bbc 3/4 subtitles for C&W. The EPG IS ONLY 24HRS.
