Ive had my Eurovox 1000 SL for 2 weeks. The remote control prob is driving me barmy. I thought the first remote had a prob as I had to stand in front of the box to get it to chage channel. Bought a new remote with new batteries and same prob!!! Anyone else have same prob??

If you have tried 2 remotes and are getting the same problem I would guess that the sensor on the eurovox itself that recieves the signal is bent out of place.
I had a box before (can't remember which) that had this same thing, opened it up and the sensor was facing downwards, I just bent it carefully back into place and it was fine thereafter.
Try this, its more than likely whats causing you problems.
