Hi,
Sounds to me like the power supply board has packed in.
If you are good at soldering you can check for blown capacitors as this is usually the problem and replace them.
Otherwise you can buy a new board resonably cheap from fleabay or other places. And they are straight forward to fit. -
its worth a try to reflash it m8 before you chuck it m8 never seen anything like that beforeComment

No Problem -- and power boards are for sale on Fleabay -- Don't dump your BLUE -- it's only just getting run in [I know - I am that Man!!]
There's life in the good old blue yet -- unless you feel like parting with ?180 for a ex7000HD
BLUE RULES!!.

WHAT DO I THINK OF CAPITAL PUNISHMENT??

The blue Eurovox was first introduced in 2006 at the time 6.3V was the recommended value, but bad caps have been the main culprit for failure.
So as said at the time it was the correct value but since it was discovered that not only were bad caps used in production but that the voltage value needed to be increased. So hence the recommended increase to 16V 1000uf.
The blue box you have was probably the best box of the older Eurovox Max range. It had the best tuner by a mile and so is worth fixing.I refuse to answer that question on the grounds that I don't know the answer. - Douglas AdamsComment
