Eurovox ex1100 hard disk

Just got the ex1100 which was nicely set up for me. Have tried it with a HD but am having problems. The HD 200gb Seagate in a USB enclosure.

When I go to the recording menu I can access USB disk status which shows as USB plug in.

However I cannot access any of the rest of the menu

Record manager
HDD information
HDD format
PVR setting

Am I missing something. I thought Using the USB port was simply plug and play.

This is the wrong section.
The correct section (cable/eurovox) is unavailable for the time being. Try again when it is up and running.

Drive has to be formatted in FAT 16 or 32 before it's readable...

FAT 32 can only write up to 32 gigs --- so to use all of your 200 gigs you will need a computer running XP and the free SWISSKNIFE utility [Google SWISSKNIFE] -- as far as I am aware, SWISSKNIFE will not work in VISTA.......

Then you should get your menus...............

Post again if your having problems and one of the Techy Wizards [there are many] will come to your aid and get yiou sorted -- as they did me
