Eurovox Max V problems

I am living in leicester and using a eurovox max v box, my box was working fine till this morning, until early afternoon the message on the box said smart card needs inserting.. i tried all my bbc channels like 1, 2, channel 4 and 5 and all them are working, i went on keymaster and saw the codes were updated so i manually updated the codes for NTL pure keys, into my eurovox box, buh my box still isnt working ...now the message on the channels seys please wait while code is updating...can someone advice me wot to do please

sounds like the firmware needs updating, read the red stickies at the top of this section on how to flash a eurobox.

instead of flashing the eurovox, is der no other way at all to do it manualli ? becoz i have a pc and no laptop and my pc and wiring is all done in the upstairs bedroom and i have no tv here... i can bring the eurovox upstiars tho there isn enough sockets and also no tv so how can i test it out? plz help

Regards updating the box, why not get a power block upstairs to extend your power requirements. Flash the box via your pc, (tv is not required for flashing) and then bring it back downstairs to check that it has flashed correctly.

All the guides you need are in the red stickies at the top of this section.

thanks for replyin satsmo i have the eurvox max v box

i did download the keymaster, and use the new updated
codes as they wer rolled back yesterdai and once i input them
the box worked but now agen its not wrkin, i inputted the new
codes buh still doesn work... i use the pure keys for N*L and live in
leicester

m8, take the box to your pc, connect the data cable and the power cable and download the softwa*e to the box and then bring the box down again, connect it to your tv and scan.
You do not need the box to be connected to your TV when downloading the softwa*e to the box.
You will see the download on the PC screen and box LCD.

am quite new to this so can u help me
do u hav the picture for the power cable and data cable? that needs connecting from the box to the pc ?

and wich software is it that i need to download, is it the firmware
or something else?

how to do a scan? do u have guide or step to step instructions of it? and how long does that take?

The power cable is for the box and comes with the box.
If you go here>Eurovox and take a little time to read the info, then you will know what to do.
