EUROVOX 5100 PROBLEMS - CODE UPDATED

Myself aswell as a few friends have lost quite a few channels over the past 2-3 days.
It comes up with a message saying '' Please wait - code being updated '' and then nothing happens - the channels dont come back on.
I am aware that there are codes on various websites to help you get the channels back on - but these channels only come back on for a day or two.
Does anyone have any idea when a software update will be out or does anyone know if there is a update out now

Hi m8 the codes have changed 3 times this week if you have flashed your box with the latest firmware (available from downloads ) then it will auto update the codes

Theres been key rolls for the last couple of days i have the hd box and its working i have to somtimes run a user installation scan to get some channels back that are missing

I flashed my box about 4 weeks ago when i bought the box with the latest firware which was brought out 16/01

i suppose i will have to wait for a newer firmware update and just keep updating the codes until this comes out

that firmware should still auto update,,

how long are you leaving the box on a "premium"" channel for it to update ?? with no flicking between channels ??

it can take quite a while to update,, ive had boxes take 5-10 mins to update beforehand

to be honest i have not been patient with it - probably left it about 30 secs

do you have to leave it for a few minutes for each channel you go on or once you have done it will it be ok for the rest of channels

but im thinking if other people are also having problems then their must be some sort of firmware to be released

my box just took about 3 mins to update so like said keep it on a premium and be patient ive had people ringing me flapping and all there boxes r working fine after waiting a few minutes..

if you have the latest firmware on it then leave it on sky sports and it will update the keys it can take a few mins

Can you confirm wether i will need to do this for every premium channel and go onto - for example if i go on sky sports and leave it a few minutes and it comes on - if i change channel ESPN will the channel be ok or will i have to wait again like i did for sky sports

no once you get 1 channel you should get them all

One thing that I have learnt is that it's best to leave the box on sky premier etc. when you go to sleep. I often come down in the morning turn on the tv and it states "updating codes", flick up a channel and then down and can access all channels. Have not had to manually find all channels for about 3 months now.

Had same problem today but left on sky sports went to work came back and everything sorted. Thanks for help, was startin to panic, new to all this stuuf!
