Eurovox 5000 pvr

Hi folks
I have eurovox 5000, can anyone tell me what a tsop file is and what does jtag mean.
Sometimes my box says code updating but when it doesent i put them in manually,does that affect it auto updating.

jtag is a way of bringing a box back to life after its been bricked tsop is the file you put on the box when this has happend as for manualy putting the codes in have you flashed your box with the latest firmware if you have then it will auto update the codes it can take a few mins
