Recording whilst viewing other channels on the 1100 sl

Hi all,

When I record a program on my 1100 sl to an external hard drive I can view other channels, however the box limits me to 10 channels of its choice. It also prevents me from using the FAV button. The choice of channels changes depending on what channel you are recording.
Does anybody else have this problem and is their an way to record and choose from all the channels?

Because the unit only has one tuner, you cannot record one channel and watch others unless they are on the same transponder. The channels you can view, while recording are on the same transponder and the others you cannot view are on different transponders.
