setting up new eurovox ex7000hd help

Hi all, I have looked at a lot of threads regarding the 7000hd and found them very helpfull but cant find what i am looking for,
I am wating for mine to be arrive so what i am looking for is an idiots step by step guide to setting one up from taking it out the box,
can anyone help please,

go to google and type bigmaq toolbar

download that

and then go to files and fixes, go to eurvox7000HD, download that, copy the file over to your USB flashdrive, stick the flashdrive in the eurovox, boot, scan, away you go.

hi m8 take out of the box set it up to your tv plug it in, download the firmware 12/3/09 from downloads rename it flash.tbn, put it onto your memory pen then put in in the back of the box switch off/on with the switch at the back and the box should find the flash and install it, next press menu> install > deep installation > then scroll to the symbol rate for your area and press the blue btn scan,all done good luck

Its not very hard m8, and there are plenty of posts here that tell you what to do.
basically, you connect up your box, download the latest firmware(available in downloads section) and rename it flash.tbn. Put it on a USB pen. Put usb pen in box and select update and its done in no time. You then select scan option and enter the symbol rate for your area, which will be 6952 or 6887.
So do firmware first and then enter your area code(6952 or 6886) and start scan.

hi guys thanks again for all the advice and when i recieive the soddin thing i will try to set it up, ordered it last sat 3rd then was told no stock till this friday 9th it's now the 10th and still got a blank gap under my tv, i will let you know what happens

box arrived and set up in no time, quite simple but sorting the channels out is a bit micky mouse for such an expencive unit but all in all well inpressed, thanks again for all the info guys.

Hi New here and I guess it's the same old question that you have hear before !

I have followed the instructions 1- dowload firmware 2-
2. Copy the file to your usb pen equivalent ensured filename is (flash.tbn).
3. Insert it into the usb slot and switch power off then back on at the rear switch.

nothing happens for me when it does some of the channels are scrambled, am i missing something, i have also gone at update firmware via data transfer on screen, scanned it and still some channels are scrambled quality is 69% strength is 20% not sure if this helps anyone to help me. BUT can some one PLEASE Help, I have followed step by step to no avail.

did everything you said still only geting free channels cant download from this site yet not done my 5 posts but got download from other site
