Eurovox ex1100 usb Purple Flashing Light

Hi i am desperate for help with the eurovox ex1100 usb ....

Problem being i updated when i first got it around two weeks ago with the abs file off here and was working like a dream...but i woke up this morning to see the box was flashing purple and nothing i do seems to get it to boot... i cant flash it due it not being able to get to the menu by usb but was hoping i could done it by cable but cant see what loader to use and what file to use i have checked and it aint a clone any help would be greatly appericated thanks

There have been reports of a few faulty ex1100, mainly with the PSU. If you cannot reflash it return it to your supplier for a replacement.

Hi just to let anybody else know with this problem that satsmo was right the psu board needs replacing and mine was done within 48hrs and works sweet as a nut now Cheers satsmo

Purple light

Hi guys,

A solid puple light indicates a bad flash and the box must be flashed with the UFL using the serial port.

The abs file wont work as it is loaded by usb.

there is a fix for the purple light issue its an rs232 fix and will be on 4shared in the next few days once final checks are made

The RS232 loader is on the Bigmaq toolbar as is a new beta firmware which helps with the EPG issue, but still isn't perfect

Hi i have a eurovox ex 1100 usb.The light on the front as stopped working (bluelight)but the box it's self is working fine. ive lost 1 channel,any ideas how to get the light back on

This is a fault with this model, you should have spend a few quid more and got the ex 5100 metal box not plastic with no lcd or volume or stations control; if your remote goes down it wont work, most by on price, but that wrong in what you save, its cheaper because they make it cheaper, sorry mate it will cost you postage of the difference to send it back.
