ex7000 help have read alot still not working

hi ive got a ex7000 have done the firmware thing and put on box but there is a conflict some say will auto update and will display this happening on the front screen it dot for me some say you have to get it of the stick once in the box and put it some where and this is one of the things im confused about im obviously new to this and would be grateful of some help

Hi m8 once you have downloaded the firmware and unpacked it rename it flash.tbn put this onto your pen then into the box switch off/on with the switch at the back the box will find the flash and install it , then do a deep scan using the symbol rate for your area.it will then auto update the codes after a key roll

it will say extracting flash on the front of the box then start to countdown ,sorry its took so long to get back i had to go to work.

hi chic it dont do that but do have the 8 fav menu catagories but still loads scrambled

try doing a fast installion to get your channels back.

my area is 6887 but i dont get any chgannels only on 6952 still scrambled can anyone help it cant be this hard should in start again factory reset flash etc whats the score with the 1968 code on lang screen cos that dont work either nothing else come up no emulation heeeelpp

ive cracked it eureka moment for the newbie had to format the usb pen first to FAT32 then flash.tbn latest firmware on and in ther box then it extracted thank goodness thanks for everyones help think ill be ok now great learning curve know a bit more about this stuff now
