    Silly question probaly but dont you do a factory reset before you add the new software for fixin the slot in / out problem.

          Have tried to follow stick's guid but cant get the firmware to upload from usb

              Try it like this with this 1100USB box m8.
              Use a USB pen drive formatted to FAT32
              Use this firmware>http://www.digital-kaos.co.uk/forums...-firmware-925/
              And follow this guide> Download the firmware, drag and drop it onto your usb pen drive. Then ensure your machine is powered down before plugging the pen drive in the usb slot, power up. Press>Menu>tools>Upgrade by USB, highlight the firmware file and press RED to flash and OK to confirm.
              Once firmware is installed, do a deep/power scan using the correct SY for your provider.
              SLOWLY, OUR FREEDOM IS BEING ERASED.
              SOON, WE WILL JUST BE A NUMBER.

                picture freeze , slow epg info

                hi all
                i set the eurovox ex1100 last night to record wwe raw
                when i got up this morning i found that it had recored
                only half way throw the programe the picture had freezed

                also some times when am watching a programme the picture just freezes dos anyone no if this problem can be fixed i have tryed the new Firmware EX1100USB_SEP01.abs
                but has not fixed it

                also the epg info is so slow
                when i had the ex1000 it worked fine no problems with that box

                i wish somone could make a fix for these two problems

                  Next silly question is how do you know if your usb is formatted to fat32, is this how they come

                    put your memory stick in to your pc
                    and go to the memory stick drive
                    right click on your mouse and go down to properties
                    and left click now another box will show you if your
                    usb memory stick is formated in fat32
                    if not right click and go to format, and select fat32
                    and your pc will format the usb memory stick

                    very easy
