eurovox 1100usb jumping from colour to black and white eraticly!

my box jumps from colour to black and white eraticly does anyone know a solution for this?
i had slot in/out but this seems to have sorted itself
now itis doing this and its highly annoying
i have tried downloading the slot in/out fixes but when put on my usb stick the box doesnt find anything

The firmware is in a rar format you need to unpack it first with winrar or other similar app.

also check the scart connection.as dodgy scart sockets can be a factor+ it should be in tv and not video socket.

i have had my ex1100 for a few month now.
everything was working fine until today. came in from work to the picture flashing black & white then colour saturation.
could not watch it it was like an 80's disco.

had a fiddle around with outher firmware (current dec 17th firmware) but nothing changed then started on the tv system & after some considerable time found a setting that worked.
changed the following:
display mode to ntsc
aspect mode auto
video output cvbs
virtual standby off
for some reason this worked i have had the setting on pal for the past few months but for some reason had to change it.

just a little help for anyone who has the same problem or if anyone knows why this happened.
