Eurovox EX1100 USB Newbie

Just took delivery of my new box and i have been looking for answers... just need a short and simple instructions to get this working from the virgin feed.
Hope someone can help, can this box also be used for satilitte feed as i may order one for my brother

box can only be used with cable feed m8 .

This caused me loads of trouble so here is what i did to get all the channels.

Either plug the box directly into you VM cable that comes outa the wall (you will need the little adaptor that comes with the eurovox to plug VM coax into the RF in) or use a splitter if you wish to keep the existing VM box attached. Just split the connection between the 2 boxes (so again you will need 2 additional leads to run to each box from the splitter)

Download the latest flash file in the sticky's at the top of the Eurovox forum to a USB device (FAT32 formatted and copy to the root of that USB, dont put in a folder) Then turn the eurovox box off, put in USB, trun on then wait for USB FIND! then press MENU, then choose TOOLS, then choose UPGRADE BY USB, choose your flash file that you just downloaded.

It will quickly flash the box and reboot. Once rebooted press MENU, (it may throw up a little warning saying UPDATING, thats fine its just downloading the encryption keys), then choose INSTALL, then choose POWER SCAN, on the menu that comes up set the following:

Start Freq: 100mhz
Stop Freq: 850mhz
Symbol Rate: (depends where you are, im London on Virgin so 6952MBaud for me, but look up on the forums for the right one for your area and provider)
Set the remaining Symbol Rates to 0
Modulator: 64OAM
Step: 8mhz
Fav Sort: On (dont really matter)

Start the scan by pressing OK on remote.

Mine only found 10 channels on the first time it scanned on POWER SCAN so dont worry if it dont find a hell of a lot. Let it finish the scan the TURN OFF THE BOX. This is important as if you fly straight in trying another scan it wont find anything different (or at least mine didnt) Turn the box back on and then choose INSTALL and choose DEEP SCAN this time. It should find all the channels now 200+ depending on you signal strength if its not the try putting the feed directly into the Eurovox if its using a splitter. Again turn the box off after the DEEP SCAN, then back on to get the signal.
