    Virgin Box and Eurovox

    Hi Guys

I just recently got a eurovox 5100 and understand that it is best practice to keep both boxes connnected to the cable connection .
I have bought a splitter but am not 100% what cable I need to go from the splitter to the boxes. is it just simple coax cable?

    will this be ok?

    RG58 50Ω Coax Cable : RF Cable : Maplin

    thanks in advance

    Matt

I'd be interested to know this as well because I only keep my Eurovox connected.

makes no diffrence if you keep your v/m box connected or not
your eurobox dosent talk back like a ligit v/m box. so its up you, nothing to worry about m8.

I am no expert in these matters, but bI have read alot of the posts on here, there are two schools of thought: firstly that if your original box continues to respond to vm then there is no reason for them to wonder why you aren't using your tv service, but the second school says, when your cable goes out of your house to the junction box down the road it connects to a splitter with three connections, so there is no way for them to know any way. I use both, because it suits me to do so. Anyone please feel free to correct.
