Couple Of Questions On EX1100 USB Before I Buy

Hi.

I am about to purchase an EX1100 USB box but wanted to clear up a couple of things before I buy.

1st question, out of the box can I just flash the box with the EX1100 Sept25th Beta Firmware or do I need to flash the box with any other firmware prior to this?

2nd question, does anyone know where I can get an up to date CDF file for the London area? Or would I be better off just going through the aggro of putting the channels in order myself?

Assuming I get an up to date CDF file, should I upload this to the box before or after doing a 1st time power scan?

Hi m8,
1) You dont need to use any other firmware, just flash the box with the one in your link.

2) It best to do a full power scan first and take a little time and sort the channels in order of your own liking and then save them to a USB drive for future use.

If you load a channel file, the no need to do a scan.

And for the EX1100 its a UDF file.

Did you install the latest firmware successfuly first?

Basically need to download and unrar the latest firmware to the usb drive then update via the box.
