    Eurovox Drive

    Hi Everyone

I am in a bit of a dilema with a problem I have run into. I have a eurovox PVR box and I am trying to use this to view programs and movies I have have on my PC via transfering the files to the eurovox drive. I have a sharkoon drive link to connect the eurovox drive to my PC. Now in order to play my files from my PC on the eurovox I need to know what file type it uses. To do this I record a bit of TV onto the drive take it out and than hook it up to the drive link. Now this is were the problem lies, everytime I take the drive out and connect it to my pc, I have to format it in order for the drive to be accepted by my PC. This in turn wipes the drive clean and therefore I cannot find out what file type was on the drive.
Can anyone give me any info on how to get around this or what file type the eurovox uses to store vidoe on its drive.

    Cheers

I do know of a program - clarke tech movie maker, but the results are so poor it's not worth bothering with.

          I'm afraid I don't know of a decent one

Thanks a mill for the info, this seems to be a difficult one. I will keep trying and will post if I overcome it.
