**Losing channels in surrey...Possible Nagra 3???

I have got a eurovox 1000sl with the latest firmware. Recently i have had lots of problems viewing channels. I am not using a splitter, just the direct feed into the box.

The strange thing is when i scan i pickup 36 TP's, and then get about 300 channels. For some reason the channel names have disappeared and i just get TVCh1 etc.

The problem is i cannot view any channels as it says bad signal, even though when i press the info button it says i have a steady 84-85% signal level and quality for most channels.

...I have just found out by using a variable attenuator i can adjust the signal to get Sly sports. But surely if i am picking up so many channels with good signal i should be able to view them?

Is anyone else experiencing this?

Do you think nagra 3 may have finally arrived in surrey?

Hi m8, its just your signal or the channels have moved. Try doing a clear data/factory reset and then a deep/power scan.

I am in Surrey and all my channels are working fine and if and when N3 comes, VM have to first issue new cards and or boxes.

I have tried a factory reset a few times but still the same. When i plus the VM box in it works fine, so cant be my signal can it? Starting to think my box is knackered, or a clone as it was perfect a week or so ago.

Its strange, i can get all channels if i try hard enough but have to alter my attenuator to watch each channel, and even then its not perfect.

My signal is high enough but its not consistant, moves quite abit between 76 an 85%

Did you manage to fix yours??

When you factory reset, are you turning off your box then leaving it for a min or two before you turn it back on and attempt a rescan?

The factory reset was the solution. Just clearing the channels and data is not enough. Factory reset is on the same menu as clear channels. Then deep scan, all working perfectly.

I havent tried leaving it for a minute unplugged after i factory reset. I will try that tonight, thatnks for the advice.

just tried resetting my box and leaving it off for a few minutes, but still the same.

Any ideas why im losing the channel names? and also the favourite titles are no longer sport etc.. but just random symbols???

try doing it without splitters attached

Then do factory reset then scan on correct provider

I am not using any splitters, just coming straight from wall. I should really test it at someone elses house to check its not the box.
