just got a eurobox when downloading codes does the box have to be conected to t.v aswell as p.c

I take it you mean you want to put the latest firmware on your box
it is best to have only the box connected to the PC ie disconnect from TV and cable feed

when i have it conected to my p.c it don't pick up the box

which model of eurovox do you have
are you using a null modem cable or null modem with usb adapter (and are you sure its the null modem type)
