Eurovox 2 (A few years old)

Is there any new firmware for this box so that the keys a.u. No too much of a pain. The box is the silver one.

Last time I did one for somebody I used Eurovox Blue Core firmware - had to be the core version because any others wouldn't flash. Need a new remote though.

You can change the Eurovox 2 into a Eurovox max through jtag but you will need a new remote. Quite a few people did this last year as EV Max gets updated well before the EV2.

you dont necessarily need jtag. The usual method with null modem cable will suffice, but as you say, once the euromax blue firmware of november 08 is on, it will require a new remote, as the firmware contains the coding for the remote control
