What does the purple light mean on the EX1100 USB any ideas anyone?

its the power board i think i read that it has to be replaced i dont have one of these boxes so i am not sure

Although I have the purple light showing everything seems to be working ok and I?m still getting all the channels, is this normal?

i flashed my box EX1100 USB via usb, now the box has purple light on front and menu on tv is not present, cannot power it up, think i might of chose to wrong place in menu to flash, would jtag work?

Purple light

You will need to use the UFL that loads via serial. the solid purple light means bad flash.

it should be fine updating with serial though

Hello thanks for your help.

I tried this with null cable via serial port but sofware cannot connect to my 1100 have made sure it assigned to com1 port one, any ideas anyone?

(can you direct me to right software to use as i can only find software for 1000 model, also can you only use an .abs file for usb upload)

there is an rs232 fix for purple light problem its just being tested now before releasing to make sure it has no side affects

ok thanks will keep an eye out for it, was thinking about jtag, but not sure about connecting to ex1100 circuit board.

I'm trying to fix the purple light too.

I flashed the box usb and it turned itself off half way through and all ig et is the purple light.

I'm using a usb-rs232, but i can't connect to the box.

Can anyone help?
