ex 5100 and splitter problem

Hi Guys

Have had the voxbox for a couple of weeks now and on friday finally got round to setting it up with a splitter so that I had the virgin box and the eurobox plugged in together which seems to work fine but then when I turned it back off and then on again alot of the channel on the VB seem to be stuttering , like they were getting back signal and kept breaking up.
I guessing that this is due to the splitter but checked all the connection were good but still had the problem
Have not discconnected the splitter and its work fine, any ideas why this might be happening?

you need to get a good splitter about ?5 or ?6 i have a 5 way one that was ?8 2 year ago god knose how mutch it would be now but i dont have any problems and i am running 3 boxes and bb of it so get a good one

ok, well the one I got was about ?4.
Maybe I will go to maplin and buy another more expensive one and see how I get on
