Eurovox 7000 -no movies/blind persons audio alwys on

Hi, ive flashed my ex7000 with the 13/03 flash and then scanned for channels it seems to pick most of the up but no movie channels? i.e sky movies, also when im watching some programs there is a narrator for blind people telling you whts going on can this be turned off?

Any help is greatly appreciated.

most queries have been answered before so the search facility is your friend.

in the meantime to get rid of the talkover press the red button on remote and select the other option to what its on

if you are missing channels scan directly off the cable feed ie remove any splitters etc. you can also do a deep scan but you will get a lot of duplicate channels

Thanks smoggy sorry I should have searched more, but ive tried rescanning without the splitter and it still doesnt pick them up, would it work if i downloaded the channel list from the download section? If so is it just a case of putting them on the usb stick with the other code and then turning the box on?

a channel file will work but the file must be the correct format (.tbn NOT .cdf) and it has to be specific to the area you are in

you can only get ppv movies if someone in your area has paid to view one (then you are limited to what they are watching)

hi, for some reason all the boxes in my street have suddenly lost ss12&3. they all worked untill last week. and all the others in my town are fine.
Ive just tried an old starview 1 box and it picked them up fine... not sure why but maybe a starview could solve your problem. if not a booster also helped to pick ss1 up but it scrambled my other channels.
