As mentionned earlier this week, Virgin Media has been doing some small scale polling of customers asking for their views on adding to the HD line up.
I think the key questions on the questionnaire related to willingness to pay ?3-?10 for extra bundles of channels.

should be 20-30 hd channels comin in 2010 but nagra 3 will come first

im gunna buy a sat card for my 800hd. cant be arsed anymore. didnt realise there were so many hd channels

The extra channels may well be IPTV, there isn't much free capacity currently and if the boxes with 3.7 firmware can handle it, streaming these channels over IP would be a good test and quite secure.
