Might sound a daft question but did you open the firmware with winrar and then do a deep scan?

it gets nothing not even fta! the signal quality is 0....but my vbox and broadband work fine. Im thinking it is an rf adaptor problem.

Take away any splitters and try it from the same feed as your Vbox.

Sounds like a tuner or PSU fault. Ask your supplier to replace it. I would try it at a friends house beforehand to rule out a cable fault at your end.
