You can get special events only when they are on, tune into 555000 it will only be a number like tv something, nothing on at present.

I think my ex7000 picked up a box office movie last night...saw the box office advert before the movie came on...not sure which one it was though.

if its for the boxing,just use an update channels scan 1/2hr before the event and then search through the channels that say TV Ch 1,2,3 etc.etc.

The thing is every time i do any thing with my channels i have to resort them and its a pain in the arse any ideas or guides would be gratefull.

How to scan and keep the order, menu installation, you will see power scan, press OK 0000 exit out, press red button update stations and you will keep the order, if you do any other scan like power scan or other you will loose the order, remember always exit out don't press power scan after you press 0000 exit, this is also good if you loose a station or want to find new stations, go through the TV number stations you will find box office on 555 000 press info button twice it shows the frequency.

Is this valid for a 5100 as well? tried to do but no joy!
Any tips for the 5100, it is a real pain to sort all channels!

Yes its the same for all eurovox, here is a good tip, if you loose just 1 station, stay on the station, press info twice, you will see the frequency number example 270 000, then go to menu installation,full power scan press OK then 0000 you will see a red dot, (now) press exit, a new box will open with loads of numbers, up down left right until the number is highlighted, then press OK a tick will be on that number, then do a manual scan, may be blue or green button depending on your box, the screen will go black for a bit then come back on, once saved the station will be back in a flash and you only scanned one station, and it will keep the order, never press when you see the red dot as this will delete all stations.
