idk if anyone cares about these stuff but i'm really curious. when watching a channel/program on tv, does our viewing count to the BARB or whatever thingies with these boxes?

A carefully selected sample of households are provided with a different set-top box which monitors which channel they are watching. Each member of the household presses a button to indicate when they are actually in front of the box.
