    EV max blue bricked?

    Alright people
had a call last night that a friend of a friends eurovox theyve had ages wasnt working and asked if i could go and have a look.
Had some mega old software on it(channel name at top of screen) so i said that was problem took it home and flashed it for them. Before i did so i checked it against the one we have downstairs looking at it through the grill and it seemed the same. Flashed it and it worked took it round and it was working on her tv all sort of channels.
She rings me up now saying she has oblong blocks across the screen on all channels. Was this a clone and ive just put the genuine software on it?
Ive gotta go round there tomorrow and have a loook so any info would be well apreciated !
