Getting Eurovox EX7000 HD+ up and running

New to the forum, first, I greet you all for the good job. Now to my question, I've just got Eurovox EX7000HD+ which I scanned using deep scan and I got many channels but most channel are just showing scrambled channel. Pls what can I do and what stuff do I need to get all the channels especially sports up and running.

Click on downloadsat top of screen, go to eurovox section, click on firmware, scroll down half way and find firmware that says "New ex7000HD firmware 12.03.09". Download it to a usb pen drive and rename file to Flash.tbn Switch on ex7000 put usb stick in usb port at back switch power off to box using switch at back, switch back on and then you should see on lcd screen that the unit is flashing and it counts down the progress. When it finishes rescan and it should work

Firmware is also available, at same place, for 21-09-09 update which fixes the duplicating of channels when 'deep scanned'

Thanks for your response. I downloaded the firmware onto my usb pen, put it on the box, the box detected it and show open USB on the screen but no flashing and progress bar on the screen. I scan for the channels again but I still have scrambled channels. I don't know whether I didn't download the firmware properly, pls help!

did you rename the flash ,flash.tbn put the memory pen into the box press menu>usb>data transfer>ok and see that it dose

It worked for me, but you must rename the file then put the pen in the usb port, switch off the device on the back of the box, then switch back on again and the file should automatically boot the system up.

I am having problems saving the favorites, i understand how to do it and how to change the catagory names, but when i go to the catagory later it has all changed, can anyone help?

hello thanks for your help but done everything you have said but dont get the flashing or the timer and still scrambled channels please help thanks its a brand new box
