    Eurovox Blue

Hi, first post please be kind.
Got a Euro Blue, had it since they first came out with no intervening problems at all. Now, for some reason it just sits there with the red stand by light on and thats it. Prior to that the display on the front panel went a bit wierd, funny numbers and letters like it was trying to communicate in an alien language. Be grateful if anyone has any idea's
    thx

No apparent leakage on c14 or anywhere that i can see. The only one thing that stands out in my mind that may have caused a problem is that this week we have had electrical work done in the house and the power has been turned on and off quite a lot and i wondered if that may have had an effect

This morning, after leaving it unplugged all night, it works. Display on front of box still playing up but all the channels are back. Can anyone tell me the effect of the c14 cap going down has, does the box just stop working or can it be progressive in that the box plays up for a while and then dies. Don't know whether to have it replaced or not
