eurovox ex5100 gone to pot

Right i have a eurovox pvr ex5100 with hdd now was working ok then needed flashing for code updates flashed using the fimware off the download section now i have more problems.
when i press rec or pause the box takes about 30 to start recording. and isi do a timed recording it wont work and some time the box wont come out of standby any help would me great thanks

hi fristly your box will take about 30 sec to rec.sec unplug from wall wailt 2 mins put plug back turn should be ok if not put back old soft ware and all promblem should be solved if not get back to me

I have a eurovox 5100 wih the same problem and have heard others with the same problems.

Firstly the box does takes ages to come out of standby and has lost the hard drive. The only way to fix it is to power off and on at the mains.

Mine also takes 20 secs before kicking into quick record.

I've looked for older firmware for the box, even the original firmware, but I could not fing any. The 5100 is so new that nobody seems to have the firmware for it.
