Eurovox EX7000 Files Disappering from Hard Drive

Hi I've got a 1TB Iomega Prestige device attached to my EX7000. There are two main problems that I am experiencing

    1) My recordings seem to disappear by themselves.
    2) Sometimes when I want to record live, the Eurovox re-boots by itself. Once it has re-booted I can then record

The drive is formatted FAT32. I have tried a full 1TB parition and also three 300MB partitions but have the same problems. The drive as its own power source.

Any help is much appreciated, I've checked other posts but can't seem to find much info on this.

Have you formatted drive to Fat32 using the ex7000 format utility.

Looks like it is an issue with timed recordings. I manually recorded some TV yesterday and all was fine. I then timed recorded two films overnight. In the morning only the second film was available? All the other content had been deleted. Do time recordings overwrite existing ones?

Also I set my default recording drive to volume1,but timed recordings keep getting recorded on volume 0, is this a known issue?

        Any help much appreciated.
