eurovox ex5000 clone need help

hi just purchased a eurovox but turns out to be a clone, hadnt realised until i had downloaded the software now dead
is there anyway i can get the original fta firmware back onto it
i thought i had ordered the ex5100 pvr but hadnt and got the ex5000 clone

you will need to jtag it there is a tut in downloads and you will find my tsop there to you will have to bye a eurovox jtag when you have jtaged it put the 1/12/08 firmware on it

have seen a guy on fleabay selling jtag leads just hope its straight forward as i am abit of a newbie never had to do this before, i feel such a plank for even not realising they were clones
update " i have just rang the supplier who has told me to go to the website and submit a returns request so have done this an will await the out come
