Is the EX6000 25th November the latest release of firmware or is there a later version?

I got a new box eurovox6000 ,which way update the system I cant see any chanels what I do

Just a couple of cosmetic changes,

1) "FAV Key" function added - Pressing FAV key while in Fav Channel List moves forward thru categorys, same as RIGHT key press.

2) "Recording File Name format" changed to Event Name/Date/Channel Name.

You may want to upload your NDF file list to USB before flashing.



There are 3 ways to load this firmware:

1) Put the KURO2.stb file on the root of a USB drive and insert into box, the box should detect the firmware and update automatically

2) If it does not auto-load, press Menu, then from UTILS "Download", enter the PIN (0000), select the file and Press OK to load..

3) Use the RS232 loader with the box connected to a PC with a null-modem cable


Do a factory reset and then scan for channels or load your NDF.

Hi all , new and useless with all the tech .have been messing with this box for months hope I haven`t missed the boat !!!

just about to downlaod, i have to wait 15 minutes - i might go boil an egg or use some kleenex

Just done the update and I still have 90% scrambled chanels - I know a couple of people whos boxes have the same problem. Does anyone know when a new update is coming? cheers

just got the Ex6000 so far so good just need to install the firmware and we shall see how it goes

i have a eurovox ex 5000. Is this box now redundant? if so what box can i replace it with?
