    eurovox ex1100 usb freezing

    hi has anyone got a new flash that stops this box freezing it only happens on the unscrambled channels i tried the advice that says update with the r232 cable on pc but it doesnt work need help any would be appreciated i live in the liverpool area

    on reading other threads about this m8 this seems to be common with this box .
    try reflashing it and see what happens .
    The only other solution is to wait for a fix for this problem.

      Thanks for the advice i hope someone sorts one out i flashed it with the november flash and the slot 0 thing came back might just go get a sl1000 they seem the best ones

        I had a SL1000 for over a year and I didn't have a single problem. I now have the SL1100 USB and its poor.
        I got it for the PVR function which works fine but there just seems to be to many problems.

        EPG issue
        Slot 0 issue
        and freezing.

        Im just hoping that these problems can be fixed.

          after reading a another forum it looks like it will be sorted but will take some time hopefully sooner rather than later

            mines freezes after it going on for a minute or so, all i do is chane to a different station, then go back to the station i had on before and the freezing has gone off. works everytime for me

              hi thanks for the advice i have tried it but mine still does it sometimes it takes half an hour to freeze but othertimes it freezes every couple of minutes will propabley buy a new box EX6000SD looks like a good replacement

                I had same problem with this box and was advised to reflash using serial port cable , and it did fix problem. also have ex 6000 and its a far better box and possably the best eurovox thats out at the moment.

                  Hi, I posted in another thread about the channels freezing on my 1100usb.

                  This problem has been occurring several times a day since Wednesday, and after monitoring the situation I have noticed the freezing was only on the pay channels.

                  Today, out of curiosity, while looking through the prefs. settings on the box, I changed the video output from CVBS to RGB and since have suffered no freezing whatsoever.

                    after trying the latest advice of changing the audio thing it still freezes but was fine for a couple of hours
