Eurovox 1100 gone off in yorkshire

Hi all my eurovox 1100 has been working fine, but last week it all stoped working.

How do i fix it? Are there new codes?

Im not the only one in the area?

Please help!

Before posting you should try reading the previous posts. If you live in Leeds area you are unlikely to get it up and running again due to new nag3 encryption.

what he means is that VM are rolling out a new encrypted signal called nagra3. This will render all after market cable boxes useless. Thats right, no more channels.

There is no fix for it yet, and the likelihood is that there wont be any either.

This started rolling out in Leeds earlier in the week, and will spread throughout the whole of the UK very very shortly

I apologise if I came across abruptly but this has been the major topic of conversation over the past week. The encryption being trialled in Leeds area is nagra 3 which is very similar to what sly use and that has not been cracked in years.

Thanks for that but I did say similar not same. You are more knowledgeable than I but everything I have read indicates that Nagra3 is not going to be fixed with a firmware update.

What you have been told here is right, whether sky use diffrent encryption or not, the fact is that vm are implementing N3 and this encryption is secure and can not be cracked, all uk will be N3 in next 2-3 months and it's a simple has this, it is now the end of free channels.
