This also happens to me. happens on any channel, and I've recently reflashed the firmware and gone through the power and deep scan to get it all up to scratch.
I've gone through the word doc and the box isn't a clone.
is there anything I can check or do to pull off a report or any system diagnostics programs I can run over the RS232 cable?
You remove the hard drive for one night only and then insert it back in the following day. Make sure it is not set to turn off via the timer as that can also be the problem.
When you take out the hard drive, carry out a factory reset and rescan. Then leave out the hard drive as said and replace the next day. Failing that a reflash without the drive inserted may be required.
