eurovox usb 1100 new dec firmware help

i loaded up the new dec firmware got all channels and epg a lot quicker with much more info so far so good however when i put the box on standby it will not switch back on i have to unplug it and plug it back on - has anybody had this problem or know of a fix- or is it best to reflash with older firmware and poss slot in slot out prob any ideas

don't know if you checked out the other post i left about the Dec update, i'm in a TW area but i found flashing it after using 25th Nov update and not factory resetting it just leaving the channels from the last update (so just the update) is working fine...give it a go

hi mate how did u actually flashed the filmware...i downloaded one from internet put into my usb but when i stick it back to eurovox usb port it doesn`t let me choose upgrade by usb... I switched off the box before I sticked the usb but still nothing...any ideas? some channels shows as scrambled or something how many channels is possible to see with this box>?

Hi m8 welcome to the forum ,
try this, when you have downloaded the firmware click to open it, and rename the flash , flash.tbn, put this onto your memory pen then into the back of the box , switch the box off/on with the switch at the back , the box will then reboot ,on the led on the front of the box it should say now booting , open flash , extracting flash then count up from 0 to 100 then reboot , you may have to do a deep scan using the symbol rate for your area 6887 or 6952.

I heard that people says something about file fat32 it seems it`s really important..is it? how to convert it?

hi at the moment when I`m switching on my eurovox 1100usb it shows Scrambled... had downloaded some filmware pu into my usb stick and when I`m trying option upgrade by usb it won`t lket me to choose this option...just upgrade by rs232 which means I don`t know what...does anybody has any clues...tryead to rename the file name but still nothing I just can`t get into my usb... what about that fat file or fat32?maybe that`s the problem? if yes so how to change the format?thanks
