EX5100 PVR Scrambled Channel Problem

Hi All,
1st post and new to all this, so sorry if I've made any mistakes.
I have bought an EX5100 pvr about a week ago.
It said it has the FTA software pre loaded on. I have scanned the box and it picked up all the channels but only showing the TV channels, the rest come up as "scrambled channels".

I have flashed the box with the software as stated in these forums, but still no joy, still the same message appears.

I am scanning with the correct code, reset it, took the HDD out, still no joy.

I have tried to enable the Emulator but for some reason the 1968 code won't work for me, therefore I cant tell whether that is the problem or not.

My line is fine as I have another 5100 and that works perfect.
This one is for my sister.

I'm a bit worried I may have been sold a clone box, bought it from satandcable.co.uk. Just been reading their reviews on forums and they are not very good.

Any help would be much appreciated. Thanks

not sure by your post weather you have factory reset the box and then scanned it after the flash .if you hav'nt you need to.
if this fails try to flash the box again .
you may also have probs if you are in the leeds area.

Hi, I am not in the Leeds area. I work in Leeds and my friends have told me theirs have gone off. In my area all the boxes did go off, but a quick re scan did the job.

Also, what do you mean by a factory reset?

I've flashed the box twice now, and still no success.
