i got home from work and the kids has done a factory reset and now im not findin no channles when i scan i reflashed it and its still the same how do i set it to scan for excw i know its goin to be easy when i know how but i dont know how thanks for looking

go into menu and you'll see the channel scan option it's one of the first options in the main menu, do a fast or power scan then exit when done simple as that

First of all you need to unzip the file inside and transfer that to your memory stick-the file will be called *****.abs, this is what you transfer to memory stick NOT the zip file

Plug in memory stick a message will come up on screen "usb find" go to menu, go to upgrade with usb and select the file that comes up click ok and away you go

**FLASH EX1100 VIA USB**

1.Download the following file (available under 'Download' tab) and save it to your Computer**

2.Extract the downloaded file and then open the extracted folder, you are only interested in the file named "EX1100USB_090925" which is an ".abs" file contained within the folder**

3.Ensure USB Pen is formated to FAT32 and contains no other files**

4. Copy the file onto your empty formatted USB**

5. Do not insert the USB into EX1100 yet!**

6.Power up your EX1100 and go into the factory settings menu and do a factory restore on your box. Then power down your box correctly and turn off at the wall.**

7. Insert the USB pen and power up your EX1100**


8.Once powered up, go into the tools menu and select ?upgrade by USB? . Ensure the file you put onto your USB pen is highlighted in the ?Upgrade File? box and that the ?Update Mode? box is set to ?S/W?. Then press the Red button on your remote and confirm you want to ?Burn the Flash?.**

9. You will see a progress bar as the Flash is burning, your box will then restart and the job is done. Select ?Menu?, Install and Fast Scan using your area frequency.**
