EX1100 USB do you have to change file name of firmware on memory stick ??

Reading the notes underneath the HD eurovox firmware it says to rename file flash.tbn.
Does this apply to the EX1100 usb as well?? Or will the file ending .abs do the trick ??

no open the zip folder and drag the abs file on to stick.

If at first you don't succeed,
destroy all evidence that you even tried.
