im a a noob at this i know that a bran new box wont come pre-instaled withe the latest firmware so were can i get the newest from many thanks

the firmware i download off the latest files, do i need a flashing utility along side the firmware or can i just download the firmware and run that??

its with it,,you need a null modem lead. (RS232)

Hi newbie here too. Have to agree with you both. Ive always used satellite boxs with Diablo cams but this box is so much easier to setup and use.
