New EX5000

just recieved my new EX5000 PVR, can't wait to get home and set it up. Looks like Ill be giving away my old MAXV box to one of the family.
Anyone know if Ill have to flash it from straight out of the box or will it auto update on its own ?

i beleive there sold free to air, so you will prob have to flash it,

iv just got this box, not set it up yet but i know there sold fta

Yes you will need to flash it. The latest file is ufl 1.1a and can be downloaded from this site in the download section
