Hd 7000 HD channels look awful

My HD channels with the HD 7000 are really grainy. Not crisp and clear when viewing via the virgin media HD box. Is this normal?

EDIT: (just unplugged the scart and using only the HDMI, works much better!)

no mate should be crystal clear if anything better than vermin hd box in my view
