ive put new firmware on and done factory reset and its sent the picture really fuzzy can someone help me please

YES NEDSTER1972 I ALSO GET THE BREAKUP OF PICTURE NOW AND THEN BUT WHEN YOU CONNECT YOUR BOX TO A PROJECTOR OR PC TV CAPTURE CARD YOU CAN STILL SEE THE PICTURE AFTER THE BOX HAS BEEN TURNED OFF,
BUT WHEN I USE MY TV IT LOOKS LIKE IT HAS TURNED OFF FINE BUT HAS NOT AS I CAN STILL SEE THE PICTURE RUNING ON MY PROJECTOR AND PC TV CARD.

ANYWAY EPG DOS WORK GOOD BUT NOT PERFECT
WHEN YOU SCROLL THREW THE CHANNELS THE BOX SEEMS TO BE A LITTLE SLOWER THAN BEFORE ALSO SOME TIMES I GET THE USB NOTICE BOX POPUP

OK MONSUR I DIDNT KNOW YOU HAD IT CONNECTED TO PC OR PROJECTOR. I JUST HAVE MINE CONNECTED TO TV. WHEN I SWITCH IT ONTO STANDBY I GET THE NO SIGNAL MESSAGE COME UP ON TV SO THAT IS ALL I AM GOING OFF.

REGARDS THE EPG COMPARED TO THE LAST FEW FIRMWARES IT IS PERFECT YOU PRESS EPG & YOU SEE WHAT IS ON & COMING ON. I AGREE THE BOX IS SLUGGISH & IF YOU JUST PRESS THE OK BUTTON FOR THE EPG ON A CERTAIN CHANNEL IT STAYS ON OLD EPG FOR A WHILE UNTIL YOU SWITCH OFF & ON.

THE PICTURE BREAKUP IS STARTING TO GET ON MY NERVES A BIT NOW IT IS EVERY FEW SECONDS NOW.
REALLY ANNOYING WHEN WATCHING SPORT OR A MOVIE.
MAY GO BACK TO PREVIOUS FIRMWARE IF THIS PERSISTS.

last night i set the box to record wwe got up this morning to find it had not recorded i remember the box did come on
also did the same thing few days ago
also i find the the picture breakup happens alot on sky sports 3 did not do this before

i hope a fix comes out that will fix all the problems once and for all

New Software

Just redet my new EX100 USB with the new beta version ( my first attemptt) and it works so far (20 minutes ago) thanks guys. the EPG is all ok so far F.Y.I i am in the Uddingston area for telewest . cheers

The 17th December firmware is the latest. A user on A-D forum has renamed the file to Dec 23rd to claim credit but it's exactly the same file.

If you are getting breakup, check your cables and connectors, that sounds like a signal issue and if you still get a picture on standby, do you have virtual standby switched on?

Hi new epg fix is great but i can confirm a problem with slightly sluggish epg but no big deal. Also the sound skips ever so slightly every 4 or 5 seconds - i have no picture break ups as reported by others. I have tried factory reset and fresh scan but no success in fixing these problems. Also tried checking the scart connection and cable feed. I went back to previous firmware (sep09) and sound problem is fixed but back to epg not updating. I live in ex telepest area.

My ex1100 usb - keeps freezing and i have to turn on and off to get going again...is this a box fault or software error related?

Working great here, epg working well (at last) and no picture break up. Old NTL area, Renfrew.

*edit* Evem with virtual standbye off EPG is still quicker than it was previously. Plus it updates all channels no matter what channel you are watching. Seems to update on favourite listings.

GO into the Menu screen, 'tools', 'Factory Setting', then 'Factory Setting' again.

I have installed the latest firmware on the ex1100 and followed all the relevant steps to flash via USB. The EPG information appears correct immediately after flash, but then fails to keep sync between the programmes times shown on NOW/NEXT and what is acutally on for many channels. Midlands telewest area, any suggestions?
