cauz i am selling the box, and don't no if having the software already installed is a no no.

no it wont remove the modified firmware (it will remove channel data,,, clear var folders,,etc)

to be honest, i would not worry about it, just factory reset and sell, then its down to who ever buys it to do what they want, if they dont just want a freeview box.

cover your arse by just putting a note with the box saying, it is ilegal to use this box to receive channels you dont subscribe to without permission from provider.
