EX 7000hd+

    EX 7000hd+

    I'v just downloaded the firmware, Installed as per instructions, and all I get is BBC1 then a message saying "Invalid Data"

    I am in a EX C/W area.



    Any answers please?

    are you sure its flashed right what did it say on the front of the box when you were flashing it

      "open Flash"
      "Extracting"
      "Booting tbn"
      "Same Version" (as I have tried it twice)

      The t.v shows BBC1 on the bar below the screen, then changes to "Invalid Data"

        ok its flashed have you done a deep scan using the symbol rate for your area 6887 or 6952

          Thanks for you help chic.

          No I havent done a scan as the box locks up on the "Invalid data" screen and won't respond to the buttons so I can't get into the menu.

          The box was brought to me by a friend so I can only assume someone has been messing with it.

            yep it looks like that but try and flash it with a earlier firmware and see if that helps try this one Digital Kaos - Downloads - Eurovox EX7000HD 8-1-09 Firmware

                I had the same problem M8 , reboot the box & as the channel info comes up on screen press the arrow(channel) button up on the remote to change channel , you can then access the menu , do a factory reset , then full power scan
