Eurovox Connection

Hi,
I've just purchased a Eurovox EX 5000.
The connection on the back which connects to v/m is not the same as on the v/m box. Is there a connection convertor for this that i can buy?

you need a male RF connector, it screws into the the cable connection. Any local satellite shop should have them in stock. If you have any problems, i have a few of them lying around i could maybe post you one.

does the line have to be acitve? if its not what happens

Bad news if your line isn't connected, you wont get any signal. There are ways around it, (1) if you know a cable engineer you can trust, give him a few quid to reconnect the cable. or (2) get basic tv package or broadband for internet, then you will have the signal.
