EUROVOX HD.

Hi I am new to this forum and to Eurovox.
I set up my box ok,I tried to use the PVR on a usb HDD but kept getting a pop up no usb connected. I tried the HDD
on my computer no problems, and tried a USB stick on box no problems.

As anyone got any idia's please.

Make sure the HD is formatted to FAT32

Format it to FAT32 via your pc/laptop using a free programme called swissknife. I had an old ps3 drive which was already formatted FAT32 and it would not recognise it until I did the above.

Hello again, still no joy with HDD drive,formated to FAT32. pop up saying usb not connected.
works with computer and pen drive.
can anyone give clear instructions as I am new to this.

Try googling fat32formatter if your running vista as your o/s or you'll end up with a partitioned drive and Swiss knife wouldn't work for me on vista either. The fat32formatter prog will allow you to format the full drive and is an absolute doddle to work.... If I can do it anyone can

Oh and go into ur main menu on ur eurovox once you've connected the drive up to it and go into the USB section at the end and use the eurovox format tool
aswell.

Probably overkill on my part but it worked with my seagate drive.
