    Half of EX5100 channels scrambled

    Hi,
I've had my ex5100 for about 5 months now. I had a lot of problems originally where a lot of the channels were breaking up. I followed advice on here and downloaded the latest firmware, changed connectors, bought an attenuater etc.. Eventually everything settled down and I could get all of the channels fine except for Sky1. I came home last Wednesday and half of my channels were scrambled! All of the sports, half of te rest were scrambled. I did factory reset and a deep scan but it's still the same.

    Anyone got any ideas? Thanks.

I'm in Enfield - north London.

I removed a splitter I had and the attenuator and the channels that were breaking up badly are a bit better (you can kind of make out the picture) but still unwatchable. The thing is I went through all of this about 5 months ago when I first got the box and over the course of the first month everything settled down ans was fine. I'm wondering what might have changed overnight last week to cause these problems again.

Is there a way to tune the problems channels manually?

yes you could try changing the freq's by 200 ie if the freq is 345,000 then change it to 345,200 then scan that freq , but i think you have a week signal due a fault in your feed , or vm may have moved your feed in the cab in the street
